DirectRooms.com can confirm that the new venue for the Thai Society of Mechanical Engineers (TSME) International Conference on Mechanical Engineering will be the Sheraton Krabi Beach Resort. The conference will run from the 19th through the 21st of October 2011.

The change of venue has been deemed necessary by event organisers following the overwhelming interest shown in the conference in recent years. Subjects to be covered during this year’s conference will include aerospace and marine engineering, robotics and many other related fields.

All of the keynote speakers who are scheduled to address the conference are experts in their specific fields, and the conference promises to be instructive and illuminating. Those wishing to submit papers to the conference must do so in advance in order to facilitate peer review. The results of this peer review will be published in advance of the actual conference, on 31st August.

The Sheraton Krabi Beach Resort complex is a 5-star facility located right on the beach, and is frequently used for conferences in the region, thanks to its superb facilities. For those attending the conference on a limited budget there are many cheap Ao Nang hotels located nearby. The Ao Nang city centre is a short distance from the Krabi Sheraton Beach Resort complex and has a wide array of attractions and facilities including bars, shops and restaurants.

Delegates who wish to register in advance may like to take advantage of the ‘early bird’ offer, which is available until the 16th of September. The ‘early bird’ fee is $213. This fee will include all meals at the conference and a CD-ROM of the proceedings.
