Barbican Presents Biggest Bauhaus Exhibition For 40 Years

London’s centre of culture is to host the UK’s biggest Bauhaus exhibition for four decades.

-- /EPR NETWORK/ -- This summer, the Barbican Art Gallery is hosting Bauhaus: Art as Life, an exploration of the famous art school's ethos of combining everyday life with the creation of art. The exhibition will be the biggest Bauhaus exhibition in the UK in over forty years., the capital's premier website for London hotels and event booking, is helping visitors to the exhibition to find affordable accommodation near the Barbican by offering reduced on a selection of conveniently located London hotels.

Much like the Barbican today, Bauhaus students were encouraged to gather as a community of artists, eschewing the traditional teacher/student dynamic in favour of a more egalitarian, communal approach.

This exhibition will showcase the very best results of the Bauhaus school, featuring painting, sculpture, film, textile and photography from famous alumni including Walter Gropius, Anni Albers and Paul Klee. The exhibition runs between 3 rd May and 9 th August. Tickets cost £10.
