The world’s only Power Walking Marathon will raise money for breast cancer research and palliative care.

-- /EPR NETWORK/ -- On May 12th, Hyde Park will see the arrival of 15,000 power walkers to raise money for Walk the Walk, a breast cancer charity that gives grants to medical researchers and funds emotional and physical care for those already diagnosed.

LondonTown.com, online specialist in events and hotels in London is offering a selection of great discounts on hotels in the vicinity of Hyde Park in support of the event.

The theme is ‘Rockin' Around the World', with walkers encouraged to don rock-themed outfits during the event. Participation is free, and walkers get an evening tour of London's architectural highlights and an after-party as a thank-you for taking part. The walk begins at 11pm.
