Award Winning Resto Honours Toronto’s Top 5 Rappers With Signature Dishes

TORONTO, Ontario, 2016-Sep-16 — /EPR Network/ — Cut The Cheese is excited to announce our Top 5 Signature Specials honouring our five favourite Toronto’s rappers: Shah, Shad, Natural Born Stranger, Sean Leon, and Minty Burns.

We’re taking classic home cooking like grilled cheese and poutine, and updating them with a gourmet and authentically Toronto twist. We take lots of pride in our food by making as much as we can from scratch using fresh ingredients.

Our first special in our Top 5 Toronto series, The Shah Real, was a poutine topped with a pineapple braised beef that sold out faster than any dish in our history. The Shah Real was a named after one of Toronto’s hottest new rappers of 2016, Shah (@DayofShah). Friday September 16th marks the launch of the series’ second dish, Toronto Tings: a double beef patty grilled cheese sandwich with a handcrafted scotch bonnet coconut-lime aioli. Toronto Tings honours veteran Canadian rapper Shad (@shadkmusic).

Cut The Cheese will be rolling out the remaining three signature dishes this autumn as we continue to bring new tastes to Toronto while honouring our Top 5 favourite Toronto rappers.

On September 30th, Cut The Cheese will be announcing our third signature dish, the Afterschool Special – a poutine with bacon, onions, and sour cream – named after Natural Born Stranger, the collective featuring Toronto rap veterans Rich Kidd (@richkiddbeats), Tona (@isatona), and Adam Bomb (@_Adam_Bomb_)
