With the facelift, the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross gets a nip-and-tuck along with a dash of new upgrades.

New Delhi, India, 2019-Nov-19 — /EPR Network/ — Launched in two variants, the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross gets a plethora of new features along with styling tweaks. Prices commence at Rs. 15.54 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi)

As a result of the dwindling sales over the past few months, Isuzu has silently introduced a facelifted version of its pickup-truck, the D-Max V-Cross. Available in two variants, the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross starts at Standard and tops off at High (Z) variant. According to the brochure, the prices range from Rs. 15.51 lakh to Rs. 17.10 lakh, respectively (ex-showroom, Delhi). Now, before we bring our Isuzu D-Max V-Cross review to the table, here’s what’s new.

On the whole, the Isuzu retains its long and muscular outline. Nevertheless, there are a few over the top changes such as the brighter LED lamps for the projector units with LED DRLs, chrome inserts around the fog lamps, a chrome grille, dual-tone 18-inch alloy wheels, new side-step, blacked-out B-pillar, and roof rails. Then there’s the shark fin antenna and pseudo-LED taillamps that exude a sense of modernity from this pick-up truck. Although it still misses out on reverse parking sensors, a reverse camera is now a part of the kit, which was sorely missed on the pre-facelift model.

On the interior front, the top-spec Z trim now gets an all-black layout and a piano black finish for the central tunnel. The seats are draped in black leather, which does help with the sporty look. Taking the centre stage is a 7.0-inch touchscreen that comes with AUX, USB, and Bluetooth functionality. However, it does miss out on nifty connectivity features such as Android Auto and Apple Carplay. At the heart, the Isuzu continues to be powered by the same 2.5-litre four-cylinder diesel that is good for 134bhp and 320Nm. While an automatic gearbox is still a sore miss, the engine only comes with the option of a 5-speed manual. On the safety front, the Isuzu boasts dual front airbags, EBD, Hill start assist, full-time 4WD, and Hill Descent Control.
