Versatile OPB9001 PCB Sensor Module from TT Electronics Featured in FTM by Future Electronics

Montreal, Canada, 2020-Jan-15 — /EPR Network/ — Future Electronics, a global leading distributor of electronic components, is featuring reflective sensor modules from TT Electronics in the latest issue of Future Technology Magazine (FTM).

The versatile OPB9001 from TT Electronics is a complete reflective sensor module for industrial and medical applications. The module integrates the OPB9000 reflective sensor alongside peripheral circuitry such as resistors, regulators and capacitors in a robust PCB assembly measuring 18mm x 12mm x 5mm.

The sensor can detect objects as far away as 50mm using standard 90% reflective material, and objects as small as 2.5mm depending on the range. It accepts supply voltages from 3.3 to 30V and comes with built-in voltage protection. It also has an industry-standard 4-pin Molex connector, and LED indicators to show overall status during power-on, output and calibration.

The OPB9001 is perfect for a wide range of manufacturing and automation applications, including industrial printing, automatic dispensing, automated banking, sewing machines, diagnostic and portable medical equipment, and material handling and asset tracking.

Future Technology Magazine is the flagship publication of Future Electronics, and is geared toward engineers and buyers looking to keep up with the latest developments in the industry. FTM comes out eight times per year, and each issue is packed with new product information, application notes, and detailed technical views from Future’s Advanced Engineers and other industry experts. The magazine is available in both digital and print editions.
