Orlando, FL 2016-May-24 — /EPR Network/ — For the second year in a row, Digitec Interactive has been named a Fast 50 honoree by the Orlando Business Journal.

The Orlando Business Journal Fast 50 recognizes Central Florida’s fastest growing companies. Companies under consideration for the Fast 50 award must be at least 51% privately-held and headquartered in Central Florida, which includes Lake, Orange, Osceola Seminole, Brevard and Volusia counties. In addition, companies must show consistent revenue growth over three years.

Digitec credits their growth to the decision to revamp their popular learning management system, Knowledge Direct. Digitec President, Jack McGrath, explains, “In 2012, Digitec decided to rebuild the Knowledge Direct learning management platform. Digitec launched the app in 2005, and it has delivered over a million courses to learners around the work, so far. But with the explosion of mobile devices and new internet technology available, Digitec self-funded a 3-year effort to redesign the platform from the ground-up. This was a risky move, but has repositioned Digitec and the Knowledge Direct platform into a broader market with a state-of-the-art mobile web infrastructure.”

Digitec is proud to be among the 50 fastest growing companies in Central Florida. “We are honored to be recognized among these industry leaders, and deeply gratified that we can help grow our community as a Central Florida employer. “ said McGrath.
