-- /EPR NETWORK/ -- One of the most popular animation films, adored by children and adults alike, has been adapted for the stage. Ice Age Live! A Mammouth Adventure will take audiences on a new adventure with Manny, Ellie, Sid, Diego and Scrat that will premier in London's Wembley Arena before embarking on a 30-country, five-year worldwide tour.

The characters will not be portrayed by puppets; they will be life size and to scale 3.6 metres high and 4.2 metres long. Although the stars of the show will remain the same as in the animated feature films, the story will be new and unique.

The show runs from 1-3 November at Wembley Arena, with three performances a day, 11am, 3pm and 7pm. Tickets cost between £30 and £50.

With a spectacle of this magnitude and scale, little ones may be a little overwhelmed after the performance, therefore LondonTown.com advises mums and dads to book an overnight stay in a nearby hotel.
