One of classical music’s most-loved performers plays two London dates this December 2012

-- /EPR NETWORK/ -- Classical music fans are having an early Christmas present this December 2012, as one of the world's most-renowned string instrumentalists, Andre Rieu, comes to the massive O2 Arena in Greenwich to play two back-to-back nights.

The Dutch-born violinist arrives with his 60-piece Johan Strauss Orchestra, his beloved 1667 Stradivarius violin, and a huge repertoire to wow the crowds in what looks set to be two packed evenings of huge sound and wonderful classical melodies.

Celebrated for his energy and jubilant playing style, these concerts are sure to have a party atmosphere it's not uncommon for fans at his shows to be found waltzing and dancing down the aisles!

Rieu formed the Johan Strauss Orchestra in 1987 and has been touring with them worldwide ever since. He's huge name and the original date just for 16th December had to be supplanted with a second night, just to satisfy demand.
