The capital's vast exhibition space will showcase everything about outdoor living, from the latest in gear, gadgets and expert advice. To coincide with the event, which runs until January 13th, website LondonTown.com has announced details of cheap London hotel rooms close to the ExCel Centre.
Alongside talks by famous explorers, athletes and other experts, there will be plenty of interactive workshops and stages dedicated outdoor pursuits including climbing, walking, eco-tourism and a a greater understanding of the wilderness. The show also boasts The Food Lovers Britain Farmers Market and The Globe Taste Experience, so there will be no shortage of refreshments in between the activities.
The Outdoors Show is part of the same bundle of events that includes The London Bike Show, The Active Travel Show and The London Boat Show. Tickets for all events (taking place over the course of a week) are available, but for those interested solely in The Outdoors Show, entry costs £15-£20 on the door, and £13-£16 for advance bookings. The show opens between 10am and 6pm each day.

The Custom House is around three minutes' walk from the ExCel Centre. Some four minutes from the ExCelCenter is the Novotel London Excel Hotel. The Novotel is offering double rooms from £103 per night a 61% reduction on the standard rate.
