-- /EPR NETWORK/ -- As inventive as she is prolific, Rosemarie Trockel's diverse body of work from the last 30 years is to be exhibited at London's Serpentine Gallery. From the 13th February to 7th April, Rosemarie Trockel: Cosmos' will comprise objects and artefacts from different eras and cultures, juxtaposed with the artists own work.

Transferred from New York's New Museum, where the exhibition launched in October 2012, the show has been described by the New York Times as an elegant, mind-expanding refusal of the standard big-game retrospective'. Knitted paintings often considered her trademark style are displayed alongside ceramics and zoological specimens, as well as pieces from outsider artists such as Morton Bartlett and Judith Scot.

The work ranges from videos, paintings and drawings, to sculptures, collages and projects for children. It is not an exhaustive collection of Trockel's work, but certainly displays the sheer diversity of her canon.
