Release of NoTaxi app for iOS: The “Uber” free alternative for iPhones is launched in Stockholm on December 10th 2015

Stockholm, Sweden, December 3, 2015 — /EPR NETWORK/ — The new and free iPhone app is launched in Stockholm on December 10th and is available on iOS (all versions of iPhone). The app enables car drivers to operate as taxis by finding potential passengers through the app’s online interactive map. Neighbors, friends, colleagues and whoever appears online will be able to give a ride for a cash reward, swish payment, fuel compensation or even free – upon agreement.

“NoTaxi is more than a driver-passenger service,” says company founder Irina Frodin, “It provides car owners opportunities to make real money since no one is standing in between the drivers and their passengers”. NoTaxi is meant to improve the quality of life in a big city and it is all about networking: members can chat and get to know each other before meeting for a ride”.

The first goal is to provide value for both passengers and drivers. The driving scheme works in large urban areas as well as suburbs, route and timing is entirely upon agreement between the parties.

NoTaxi operates as a social network, unfolding personal and business opportunities for people living or working in close proximity.

As a direct competitor of Uber, NoTaxi has a clear distinction being completely free of charge for drivers. Car owners have access to earning cash or accepting swish payments with no intervention. The app only provides map (to see who is online), chat, route tracking and all necessary details about the driver and the car. One of the key features is flexibility and transparency: online members see each other, set their prices (starting from zero) can track the future route and get as many details about each other firsthand.

After its initial induction in Stockholm, NoTaxi will be launched in other major cities such as Berlin, London, Madrid and Barcelona and so on. Android and web versions will be available.
