Drake Dillard Elected to the 2016 American Institute of Architects Los Angeles Board of Directors

Los Angeles, CA, January 8, 2016 — /EPR NETWORK/ — Perkins+Will (www.perkinswill.com), an interdisciplinary, research-based architecture and design firm and a global leader in sustainable design, is proud to announce that Senior Project Manager Drake Dillard, AIA, NOMAC has been elected to the American Institute of Architects Los Angeles (AIA|LA) Board of Directors.

Based out of the Los Angeles office of Perkins + Will, Dillard has been serving as the firm’s Senior Project Manager since 2014. He brings over three decades of experience in the management, design, and construction of medical, educational, commercial, and residential facilities, with projects across the United States, Middle East, and Africa. He has also been actively involved in the professional community as the past president of the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA), and board member for organizations such as the Historic Preservation Overlay Zone (HPOZ) Lafayette Square, Board Chair for Crenshaw YMCA and Commissioner for Los Angeles County Commission on Local Governmental Services.
