Gabriel Ruiz, A Bolivian Entrepreneur aimed to educate poor Bolivian kids

Tarija, Bolivia, 2017-Jun-05 — /EPR Network/ — As we all knows that Bolivia is the poorest county in South America with approximately 60 percent people living in poverty or under poverty line.

A huge population of Bolivia are struggling to fulfil their daily basic needs and Education is one of the most important part.

To help such people a Bolivian Entrepreneur Mr. Gabriel Ruiz started a Social Organization “Bolieve” . The Goal of “Bolieve” is to provide education opportunity to poor children and financial support for artisans.

 

“Bolieve is focused to, Provide Job opportunity to poor artisans who are making beautiful handmade backpack. For each backpack sold Bolieve will provide a day of education to an average of 25 poor kids of Bolivia”

 

Mr. Gabriel Ruiz is the founder of  “Bolieve” who dedicated his whole life to help poor  artisans and poor kids of Bolivia so that every poor hand of Bolivia can get a job and every poor  student can learn.

According  to Gabriel, it’s all started 6 year ago in Bolivia during his schooling. He was passionate about tennis. He switched his day school and sifted to night school so that he can practice during the day and study in night. Night  class made a huge impact on him. During the class he seen many of his classmates were working during the whole day and just  to only fulfil his daily basic needs as they didn’t  have financial support.

This was the turning point where Mr. Gabriel decided to help poor students. 

 

“MR. GABRIEL NOTICED THAT MOST OF HIS CLASSMATES WERE LABORERS WHO WERE WORKING

DURING THE DAY TO AFFORD THEIR BASCI NEEDS. IT WAS VERY EVIDENT THAT THESES

IMPOVERISHED STUDENT  LACKED OPPORTUNITY

AND FINANCIAL SUPPORT”

 

Gabriel started looking the way so that he can help these poor students. During his night school in Bolivia Mr. Gabriel met  with artisans who are making most beautiful backpacks and its impressed Mr. Gabriel.

According to Mr. Gabriel “Those handmade backpacks were so beautiful that impressed me a lot. I was impressed with craftsmanship of these bags”

 

Mr. Gabriel decided to bring one backpack for his American friend named Van and he also loved it too much.

 

“It was then that I thought of the idea to sell these amazing backpacks and donate a portion to the money to help both the artisans and the students next door.”

 

He figured out  everything that how to make this idea possible, he had decided to a model to raise the fund and make a bigger impact  .

 

The Model

For each backpack sold we will fund a day of education for Bolivians in need. This way we tackle the most important factors of poverty, lack of education while also creating jobs.
