SPEC INDIA Marks Its Presence at Pentaho Community Meeting 2017 with Its Innovative SSBI Plug-in

Ahmedabad, India, 2017-Dec-05 — /EPR Network/ — The Pentaho Community Meet 2017 celebrated its 10^th anniversary, from November 10^th to 12^th 2017 at Mainz. This initiative by it-novum in association with Pentaho, had around 200 attendees from over 40 countries, of which the Pentaho fanatics were all inspired to showcase their state-of-the-art ideas through various forms like hackathons, stimulating use cases and pioneering explanations.

SPEC INDIA keenly participated in the event filled with a variety of workshops and presentations. On the first day – 10^th Nov 2017, the Pentaho Community Meeting organized a ‘Hacks & Snacks’ event which was a Hackathon focused towards short technical discussions by enthusiastic developers, highlighting their impact on the Pentaho community. SPEC INDIA was proud and happy to have Senior Pentaho expert and business analyst – Mr. Pranav Lakhani, who delivered his talk on Self Service Dashboards in Pentaho. He acquainted the community with SSBI – a plug-in for creating self-service dashboards, in Pentaho. This plug-in aims to facilitate business users to simplistically and quickly build visually appealing dashboards by choosing relevant dimensions and measures, with just a few clicks.

SPEC INDIA feels motivated to have garnered a highly optimistic rejoinder from the attendees. Pranav Lakhani shared relevant brochures to all and demonstrated the SSBI plug-in to those interested. He also joined other technical talks and met Pentaho advocates to gain further knowledge about the contributions.

SPEC INDIA is lucky to have demonstrated this plug-in to leading technology experts, existing customers & prospective clients, who have appreciated this innovative venture and showed keen interest to use this plug-in. Talks are on with them to arrange for a detailed demonstrations & POC. There were many, who asked for the advanced roadmap to this plug-in and wanted to see the demo again.

Prominent technology specialists, current clients and prospective ones – all of them had a glance at this novel SSBI venture and appreciated it largely showing a positive curiosity in using this plug-in. Comprehensive demo and POC are being planned with them. It was very exciting to see attendees asking for our future plan of action and what value additions we plan in the plug-in, in the near future.
