Vembu’s presence at VMworld, Las Vegas couldn’t have been better

And this year, the Mandalay Bay Hotel at Las Vegas saw people from 100+ countries trying their hands out with the latest technology in the lab sessions as well the product demonstrations in the vendor booths.

So what was the buzz all about you ask? The all-new Vembu BDR Business Essentials was unveiled for SMBs that run less than 6 CPUs or less than 50 VMs. Among other features like it’s in-house file system- the VembuHIVE, flexibility to support faster and leaner backups for VMware, Hyper-V and Physical Windows Servers under a single window and the latest version 3.9.1 Update 1’s support to the latest VMware vSphere 6.7 in less than 60 days of the announcement by VMware surprised many.

Well, here’s more. There are equally exciting features that await in the next version 4.0 like backing up Hyper-V on a cluster setup, replication with failover and failback options and so on. Post successful partnership with NetApp and HPE, work is progressing in the high octane and the end of the year 2018’s quarter will also see this most talked about functionality -storage level snapshot backups up ready for system administrators to play around with the Vembu BDR Suite in their infrastructures.
