IBA Welcomes The 19th Batch of “Future CEOs”

Bangalore, India, 2019-Jul-20 — /EPR Network/ — A day of new beginnings, a day of promises to oneself for self-development, a day of fresh start to a career defining journey. It was the day of 20th June 2019 when the 19th Batch of IBA Bangalore put its foot forward to learn, experience and challenge itself in the PGDM programme for next 2 years. These “future CEOs” were welcomed with a ceremony that was both educating and inspiring.

The ceremony started with the senior batch students chanting the Saraswati Vandana, invoking the “Goddess of Knowledge”, Maa Saraswati, to seek her blessings, because the day marked the beginning of a new chapter in the life of the students.

It was an auspicious day, and the whole IBA family gathered to welcome and bless its newest members. Well known dignitaries of IBA along with Chief Guest, Mr. Devesh Agarwal, Managing Director – Infomart India Pvt. Ltd. (Also Lockheed Martin Innovation Silver Medalist) and Mr. Manish Jain, CEO and Founder – IBA Bangalore, along with Dr. Subhendu Dey, Program Director – IBA Bangalore, and all the faculty & staff members graced the event with their presence.

The ceremony started with Mr. Manish Jain followed by Dr. Sudhendu Dey welcoming the new students into IBA family, explaining the best ways to turn the 2 years of PGDM course fruitful. Mr. Devesh then interacted with the students and talked about how being successful is not just about following the best practices but at times being a “Maverick” to refute the norms and create your own success path. Subsequently, the members of Faculty and Staff took turns, introducing themselves to the new students, who afterwards introduced themselves to the gathering. The event concluded by thanking for the efforts of all those who were present which was well presented by Prof. Suresh Chandra with a hope that the new batch will follow in the footsteps of their predecessors to strive hard and raise the bar of academic achievements within and beyond the Institute at various levels.
