New Jersey Meditates Again Dhyanotsav, An Immersive Meditation Event Opens To The American Public

NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, 2019-Sep-09 — /EPR Network/ — The Heartfulness Institute, a U.S. nonprofit that offers relaxation and meditation techniques to reduce stress and anxiety, improve sleep and enhance emotional intelligence today announced Dhyanotsav—dhyan means meditation, utsav, a festival or offering—on Saturday, 7 September 2019, 3 pm to 6 pm at the New Jersey Performing Arts Centre (njpac) in Newark, NJ.

The high point of Dhyanotsav is an immersive experience of the Heartfulness self-practices that include the Heartfulness relaxation technique that you can practice before meditation or deploy as a refreshing booster break; the silent Heartfulness meditation on the heart; and the technique of cleaning or rejuvenation to remove stressful impressions from daily interactions. These Heartfulness techniques are very effective self-management tools that help lead to increased productivity, clear decision-making and better relationships for those who practice daily.

The audience at njpac will be led to experience some of these techniques that have been consciously designed for daily practice amid modern-day living.

In 2016, the Heartfulness Institute organized the East Coast Heartfulness Conference, also at njpac, following similar outreach in Detroit and Los Angeles that brought Heartfulness meditation to thousands of people across the United States. Since then, the Heartfulness Movement has seen hundreds of thousands adopt these tools of personal enrichment. Dhyanotsav in Newark would kick-start a series of trainer-led meditation and relaxation teaching events across the United States—at no cost and to all who are interested.

Commenting on the Dhyanotsav initiative, the Heartfulness Guide, Kamlesh Patel, also known as Daaji, said, “Our natural state of being is blissful and in touch with our inner nature. Meditation transforms us to that state where the mind can combat the challenges of day-to-day life effectively. Decisions that help shape an efficient life become a habit. An individual’s experience of oneself and the world is elevated. Through Dhyanotsav, we are offering the benefits of Heartfulness meditation to millions across the world.”

Heartfulness self-practices are non-religious and non-dogmatic that help individuals experience and sustain repose, balance and composure, some of the natural outcomes of this gentle, silent meditation centered on the heart.

Heartfulness is distinguished by a natural energy called yogic transmission. Many feel the effects of transmission in their first few Heartfulness sessions and are often surprised at their own ability to plunge into an absorbed meditative state.
