Studio William to go Interactive at The Restaurant Show 2019

LONDON, UK, 2019-Sep-18 — /EPR Network/ — If you thought exhibition stands full of cutlery and tableware were becoming dull and repetitive, think again. At this year’s Restaurant Show, Studio William Hotel & Restaurant Supplies will be inviting attendees to dive in and experiment with the new products on display.

There’s no sign of the impersonal ‘Don’t Touch’ and ‘Ask for Help’ signs often found adorning exhibits full of glassware and crockery. Instead, you’ll find unmade tables; blank canvases for delegates to design their perfect tabletops by using hundreds of showpieces created by the likes of Piet Boon and fashion icon, Ann Demeulemeester.

In addition to these new designer collections from headline partner, SERAX, visitors to the Studio William stand located in the National Hall will also be able to play with collections by Meissen, Rosenthal, Riedel Glassware, Kiat Siam, and of course Charingworth and Studio William cutlery.

Earlier this year, Studio William opened their showroom in the Cotswolds where F&B professionals can, by appointment, attend with up to nine colleagues and enjoy the venue’s on-site facilities. These include a fully-working kitchen, dining area, outdoor and events spaces, and workshops in glass tasting, menu pairing and tabletop design. It’s received rave reviews by clients like Hilton Hotels Worldwide, and so the Studio William team will be bringing a taste of it to London’s Olympia.

“We’ve chosen to bring our Creative Dining Experience to The Restaurant Show this year.” Andrew Greenhalgh, PR & Marketing Manager for Studio William, tells us. “We realised that many exhibitors still only allow visitors to look at products from a distance, or merely hold them briefly before putting them back on the shelf. That doesn’t allow potential customers to truly appreciate how products feel, work or look alongside others pieces. So we’re inviting people to take down the products they love and create their perfect tabletop designs. We’ll be on hand to advise and curate the latest trends, giving our visitors a unique opportunity to see, first-hand, how product combinations will look in their restaurant or hotel.”

Of the Studio William Creative Dining Experience, Ciaran Hickey, Director of Culinary (EMEA) Hilton Hotels Worldwide, said, “I really enjoyed the time spent [there] and I believe we all took away a lot.”

“Let me second that. A fabulous day and venue.” added Neil King, Procurement Director F&B (EMEA) Hilton Hotels Worldwide.
