A New Scientific Discovery!

A Systems Law

Madison, CT, 2019-Dec-09 — /EPR Network/ — The discovery of a new scientific law of nature has been made. Never before has there been the discovery of a systems law, one which defines harmony.

The two discoverers, Christopher Dunn, Esq. and Cathy LoGerfo, explain that there are parts to harmonious interactions, relationships, processes, organizations and even society.

“This is a breakthrough, if true,” says Dunn, more of a sociologist than an attorney. Dunn practices law. LoGerfo, his partner and co-discoverer teaches. The two have written more than twenty books on the topic.

“If it is true that there are parts to harmony, then we can use this knowledge to redesign everything from relationships to society by making use of the design knowledge,” says LoGerfo.

Dunn and LoGerfo explain that the human body is a model for design. Biomimicry is a field that looks to nature to design products and services. Yet, we, society and individuals, can turn to the wisdom in the human body to redesign everything – for harmony.

This idea is not a new one, but it is new in that Dunn and LoGerfo go well beyond what others before them have done. Thomas Hobbes, the political scientist, and Herbert Spencer, the biologist, each looked at the possibility we could order society according to the model of the human body. They sensed that there were valid comparisons. Yet, they never identified functional common denominators as Dunn and LoGerfo have done.

The identification of “parts” which function in systemic wholes is a brand new idea, yet its value is one envisioned by the noted architect and visionary Buckminster Fuller. Fuller intuited that there was, in nature, a set of principles which underly order, or what Dunn and LoGerfo call harmony, or alternatively, alignment. Much as the body is a model of order and harmony, or alignment, which depends upon parts for that order, functioning parts, so too, any harmonious whole, a relationship whole, an organizational whole, or a societal whole, requires functioning parts. This discovery, made by this pair of individuals, shows what those parts are.

It means that we can bring these parts into our lives and world to a much greater extent. Once we know what the parts are, we can make use of that knowledge to create more harmony in our lives and our world. The two discoverers book titled Creating Harmony serves as an introduction to the idea. They also have written a book titled A System for Harmony which offers a deeper explanation of the discovery. You can find these books and others on the subject, along with several children’s books they’ve written and illustrated at agooddiscovery.com and ucanbeheroes.com, and also at amazon.
