America’s Boating Channel Launches ELECTRONIC VISUAL DISTRESS SIGNALS

RALEIGH, NC, USA, 2022-May-26 — /EPR Network/ — The third video in America’s Boating Channel’s™ sixth season of boating safety and boater education videos, “ELECTRONIC VISUAL DISTRESS SIGNALS,” will debut this Thursday morning May 26 at 9 AM Eastern Daylight Time (EDT).

The new title will be featured on AmericasBoatingChannel.com, America’s Boating Channel on YouTube, and across online social media as part of the video service’s National Safe Boating Week promotional campaign, which is showcasing new and different titles each day.

“ELECTRONIC VISUAL DISTRESS SIGNALS” covers alternatives to pyrotechnic devices. Viewers will learn the operation and maintenance of nighttime-approved visual-distress signal lights used in conjunction with daytime distress-flags. Also featured are the newly approved dual-color signal lights.

The new video exclusively features members of United States Power Squadrons at Tybee Light and Lake Murray.

America’s Boating Channel videos are enjoying higher viewership levels as Americans have increasingly turned to boating as a recreational outlet during the coronavirus pandemic. Screening boater education videos is an excellent way for boaters to prepare for safer experiences on the water.

America’s Boating Channel’s sixth season of videos, which will premiere throughout the 2022 boating season, includes “FIRE EXTINGUISHER REGULATIONS,” “TRAILERING A BOAT,” “DEFENSIVE BOATING,” “ELECTRONIC CHARTS AND VIRTUAL ATONS,” COMMERCIAL TRAFFIC,” “LIFE JACKET WEAR,” “BOAT OPERATOR RESPONSIBILITIES,” “NAVIGATING INLETS,” “ELECTRONIC VISUAL DISTRESS SIGNALS,” and “CAPACITY COMPLIANCE.”

America’s Boating Channel is also accepting input for its new “INLET DRONE VIDEOS” offering, which will feature narrated aerial video coverage of high-traffic US waterway entrances. The video service recently completed filming at Cape Fear, North Carolina, the first inlet to be covered in its new series. To learn more, email INFO@AmericasBoatingChannel.com.
