December 12, 2013, 7:29 am -- /EPR NETWORK/ -- Royal Ridges is a Christian camp and retreat center located at Yacolt, Washington. It started in 1978 by when Roy and Jean Anderson gave their land generously for use of children and teenagers to learn to horseback ride and other events that will create memorable and a strong faith base. Summer camps are broken down into groups by ages and sexes. It will provide them a sense of both freedom and responsibility as they clean their cabins, take turns in serving the meals during meal time, and help around the camp. Staffs are challenged to help these children and teenager grow closer to the Lord and also build relationships based on honesty, faith responsibility and caring. An additional teaching in especially for teens is how to cope with peer pressure and bulling.
The horseback riding lessons has been a very popular camp event that children and teens alike look forward to in the summer. Horseback riding lessons on these majestic trails not just give you a peace of mind but can also show you just how magnificent God is. It is large enough to accommodate on the horse trail it has the best framework for providing an accomplished and successful horseback ride lessons.
The government has established a safety standard that Royal Ridges Retreat follows. The horses are trained to certain signals that they understand for it to walk, trot, gallop, and stop. Additional lessons are how to groom your horse. In this lesson, the staff will teach you the appropriate hoof care, bridling and saddling and horse boarding. While horseback riding, children and teens, will benefit the stamina, coordination, balance and muscular endurance. This will enhance the muscles tone inside your legs and even in the abdomen. Riders also are to be equipped properly to protect themselves in the event of falling or any accidents. But no need to worry, most lessons are supported through the best plan which are supported for the rider. Children and even teens alike are supervised by the trainer or instructor until they are matured enough to handle the responsibility to actually care and ride the horse.
