AIDI Hosts Successful “Environment Day” Event for Earth Day

more than 400 families came to celebrate Earth Day at AIDI International School

BEIJING, China, 2017-May-23 — /EPR Network/ — Another outstanding event for AIDI! On April 22nd, more than 400 families came to celebrate Earth Day at AIDI International School. In collaboration with TimeOut Family and many local businesses, activity booths were set up all over campus to promote environmental awareness.

With beautiful weather as the backdrop for the event, parents and children could choose from a plethora of activities. From tree planting and bookmark crafting to baseball and go-kart racing, AIDI ensured that there was plenty of options to suit everyone’s taste!

A fencing coach was on-site to teach children the proper techniques.

Swing, batter batter, swing! Sport enthusiasts could practice their batting skills during the event.

 

Mixing learning with fun, the aircraft driving simulation system became a very popular activity with children.

Slow and steady: this child carefully operates the simulated aircraft with the assistance of a trained pilot.

The AIDI Environment Day was also an opportunity for students to showcase their impressive talents.

Finally, thanks to the generous families who donated, a total of 484 books and 186 pieces of clothing were collected during the Environment Day charity drive. All donations will be sent to the Chaoyang District Hope House orphanage.
