The highest value of project completions will be in 2021, with a value of US$320.7 billion. China accounts for the highest value of the project pipeline, with a value of US$534.0 billion, followed by India with projects valued at US$263.5 billion. The two highest value projects are the US$80 billion Fuzhou to Taipei Highway: Taiwan Strait tunnel in China and the US$71 billion National Highway Development Program in India. Given the massive Chinese investment in road and other transport infrastructure in the region it is not surprising that four of the top ten contractors are based in China.
