A Press Conference to Introduce A System Of University Education To A Jordanian Refugee Camp

Abu Dhabi, UAE, 2018-Jun-13 — /EPR Network/ — Under the tagline: ‘Let’s build the Future through Education’, the Pearl Rotana Hotel in Abu Dhabi played a host for a presentation to introduce a humanitarian project developed by the Swiss International Humanitarian Organization (UniRef) in collaboration with various parties such as the Jordan Red Crescent, Isra University and Al Bade Group; an Emirati business leader.

The conference held the title: ‘A pioneering mission: University Education, state recognized, for the refugees placed under the protection of the Red Crescent in Jordan’, with an invitation list that included a spectrum of notable figures such as H. H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan who is the Minister of Foreign Affairs and President of UAE Red Crescent, H. E. Mr. Nayef Zaidan, Ambassador of Jordan in UAE, H. E. Mrs. Maya Tissafi, Ambassador of Switzerland in UAE, Dr. Mohammad Al Hadid, President of Jordan Red Crescent, Mrs. Fatima Gailani, Head of GCC Cluster, Dr. Ghaida Abu Rumman, Vice-President, Isra University, and many more.

The conference schedule included a detailed introduction to this UniRef University Education and how the program can give hundreds of refugees in the Emirati-Jordanian Camp access to higher education using cutting-edge techniques and competent personnel.

The conference entailed addressing messages of gratitude from Mrs. Yvelyne and Mr. Bryan Wood (UniRef cofounders) to Al Badie Group and its management board represented by the renowned Emirati businessman Mr. Khaled Al Badie for his major role in executing the plan of providing financial support for this endeavor in a true model of the proper corporate approach to humanitarian crises.
