Oakville Voted Best City to Settle In After Ontario PNP For 2018

This was determined as a part of the magazine’s annual survey to find the best places to live in Canada. Oakville won the honors of being not just the best city to settle in after applying for Canada PR through Ontario PNP but as the best ranked city in the entire country.

The city of Oakville, a prominent city in the province of Ontario has a population of around 200,000 and is situated on the banks of the Lake Ontario, which is around 24 miles from Toronto. The city has a reputation for juxtaposing the mansions of the Mega rich with the small town ambience of a rural community in perfect harmony with each other. The magazine has ranked more than 400 cities in Canada after evaluating them on 10 different parameters which include employability, income and wealth creation, affordability, population growth, taxes, ease of commute, crime levels, weather, access to public education and health care, amenities, and cultural diversity. According to the survey, cities were judged on their ability to be affordable, safe for families and easy to commute. Cities were also ranked on the basis of their ability to integrate new immigrants easily and were given additional points if the city had people living in it who spoke languages apart from English and French. Oakville scored high on all criteria making it one of the top choices to settle in after Ontario PNP.
