Newly Released Human Monocyte-Derived Dendritic Cells from Creative Bioarray

Shirley, NY, January 20, 2016 — /EPR NETWORK/ — Creative Bioarray, a global leader in the supply of research-use cells, including primary cells, tumor cells, stem cells and transformed cells, etc, has announced today the launch of a new type of nervous cells—Human Monocyte-Derived Dendritic Cells to academic, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology organizations who are committed to biological research.

Creative Bioarray’s Human Monocyte-Derived Dendritic Cells provide an ideal culture model for the study of the initiation of immune responses, delivery of antigens to dendritic cells, cytokine production, vaccines and Toll-like receptors (TLRs). They are derived from monocytes that have been cultured with IL-4 and GM-CSF.

The newly released cells are quality tested via flow cytometry to ensure proper expression of dendritic markers. Dendritic cells express CD11c and HLA-DR. The expression of CD3 (T cells), CD19 (B cells), CD14 (monocytes/macrophages), and CD80 (a maturation marker) is also analyzed to ensure depletion of these cell types.

In addition, dendritic cells are derived from monocytes cultured with interleukin 4 and granulocyte-monocyte colony stimulating factor, which are extensively tested for quality and optimal performance.
