Colfax Fluid Handling exhibiting complete line of wastewater solutions at IFAT trade show

Radolfzell, Germany, March 7, 2016 — /EPR NETWORK/ — Colfax Fluid Handling, a unit of Colfax Corporation (NYSE: CFX), will exhibit its complete line of Allweiler pumps for sewage plants at the IFAT show in Munich (Hall A6, Booth 139/238). This includes everything from macerators and peristaltic pumps to progressive cavity pumps, centrifugal pumps, and propeller pumps in a wide range of sizes. Allweiler’s redesigned Alldur stator and the All-Optiflow pump for abrasive liquids will also be on display.

Allweiler has been supplying sewage plants around the world with wastewater pumping solutions for more than 60 years. “This gives plant operators the ability to obtain all of the pumps they need from a single source, which streamlines the storage of spare parts and ensures that all components are optimized for use together,” according to Gunter Connert, Sales Manager for Germany at Colfax Fluid Handling/Allweiler. Allweiler’s selection of progressing cavity pumps ranges from small metering pumps for flocculant to multi-stage digested-sludge discharge pumps, which can easily move sludges with up to 40% dry substance across long distances and heights.

The new All-Optiflow series is designed for universal use and is characterized by very high energy efficiency. Their capacity is up to twice as high as conventional pumps. They can move virtually any liquid, including those that contain fibers and solids. When used together with the new Alldur stator, these pumps have a service life that is up to three times longer than conventional pumps without the need to replace wearing parts, even when pumping chemically and physically harsh liquids.

Specialized pump types complete the range of solutions for sewage plants. The exhibited macerators make it possible to pump liquids with a high proportion of solids or fibers. Peristaltic pumps can be used both as metering pumps as well as for pumping liquids with foreign objects. Allweiler propeller pumps are ideal for pumping large volumes of liquid, such as for recirculation.
