Vascular BioSciences congratulates VP of Communications, Dr Susana Peinado, Ph.D., on being awarded her Doctorate from UCSB School of Communication

GOLETA, CA, 2016-Jun-07 — /EPR Network/ — Vascular BioSciences announced today that Dr. Susana Peinado, Ph.D., Vice President of Communications at Vascular BioSciences, was awarded a doctoral degree from the UCSB School of Communication.

In addition to her outstanding work at Vascular Biosciences, Dr. Peinado has received numerous awards for her accomplishments, including a Dean’s Advancement Fellowship, a Health Communication Doctoral Fellowship at the Cancer Communication Research Center, National Cancer Institute, a Graduate Opportunity Fellowship, and a SAGE Sara Miller McCune Fellowship.

Dr. Peinado’s dissertation research, “The Use of Emotional Shifts in Health Messages as a Strategy for Generating Talk and Promoting Attitude, Belief, and Behavior Change”, focused on how conversation following exposure to health messages influences attitudes and behavior.
