BAKER DISTRIBUTING COMPANY ANNOUNCES NEW PRESIDENT

Jacksonville, Fla., 2018-Mar-05 — /EPR Network/ — Baker Distributing Company announced today that Matthew Roth has been named president and Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective immediately. As president and COO, Roth brings with him over twenty years of leadership experience in the building materials, manufacturing and distribution industries. Prior to his promotion, Roth was the Executive Vice President (EVP) at Baker Distributing Company.
Prior to joining Baker, Roth spent five years at Owens Corning as director of sales, North America – commercial and industrial segments.

Roth, a successful leader with strong business acumen, maintains an impressive track record of success in producing profitable results, establishing operational efficiencies and growing market share to increase earnings and revenue. Roth previously held executive positions at Illinois Tool Works and James Hardie Building Products.
As EVP, Roth proved that he is committed to the success of Baker, its employees, Baker’s vendors and customers. He is committed to showing progress, growth and technology change so that Baker is positioned as a leader within the HVAC industry.

Roth earned his bachelor’s degree in economics and later graduated with a MBA at the University of Richmond – Robins School of Business. Roth relocated from Ohio to Jacksonville, Fla. with his wife Lindsey and their three children.
