Brussels, Belgium, 2018-Jun-18 — /EPR Network/ — EC-Council is set to launch an exclusive training event designed to produce top-level information security leaders by arming them with the knowledge to prevent cyber-attacks from damaging their organizations. The Certified Chief Information Security Officer (C|CISO) program, which is to be held on 23rd June – 1st July 2018, will host nearly 50 hand-picked professionals from top-notch companies from across the globe.

During this exclusive online training event, attendees will be taught information-security management strategies, executive leadership, and risk management strategies in order to protect any organization. Attendees of the program will also have the opportunity to network with professionals in the industry from all over the world, building professional relationships and learning from another’s personal experiences.

The C|CISO Body of Knowledge focuses on five domains required for a C-Level position — governance, risk management, program management, information security core concepts, and strategic planning and finance. These domains have been mapped in alignment to the NICE Cybersecurity Workforce Framework (NCWF), a national resource that categorizes and describes cybersecurity work, listing common sets of duties and skills needed to perform specific tasks.

The C|CISO program is an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited program that has helped train top security professionals from IBM, Homeland Security, First Federal Bank, U.S. Army, G.E., Mitsubishi , Dell, TCS, KFC, Mastercard, Reliance, Ocean Bank, Deutsche Bank, and many more in the past. Marco Galli, Founder and Owner, Cyberwhat called the program “the pinnacle of any information security professional.”[1]

To ensure that the best instruction is given, Tom Brett, Cybersecurity Specialist and C|CISO and C|EH trainer, will be conducting these sessions during the four-day online program. His approach to training is based strongly on developing hands-on practical skills, real life scenarios, group learning, and learning from the latest technology developments.

“By becoming a Certified Chief Information Security Officer, I have gained a better understanding of the five critical domains explained in EC-Council’s C|CISO Body of Knowledge and through real-life examples that were presented by the instructor” says Leandro Ribeiro, Leader of Cyber Defense, United Health Group, Brazil.

In order to qualify for the program and exam, every attendee must have a minimum of 5 years of prior experience in at least 3 of the 5 domains (experience can overlap).
