TiE Detroit Appoints Anu Gopalakrishnan as New President for TiE Detroit Chapter

Farmington Hills, Michigan, 2018-Oct-10 — /EPR Network/ — Anu Gopalakrishnan has been named as the new president of TiE Detroit. TiE Detroit president Tel Ganesan, whose term ends December 31st, 2018, made the announcement at the recently concluded TiECon Detroit conference Ignite2Disrupt at Suburban Showplace, Novi, MI.

“I’m excited to pass my leadership responsibilities of Detroit chapter to Anu,” said Tel Ganesan. “Anu will drive the initiatives to grow TiE Detroit to new heights. She has been the driving force  to mentor the entrepreneurs and accelerate the growth of the chapter. My journey in this wonderful ecosystem has been amazing and I look forward to further support TiE as a charter member. “

Anu Gopalakrishnan is the Vice President, Kyyba Innovations and has successfully completed numerous innovation biz tech projects and has broad cross industry global experience in the  insurance, finance, travel, and automotive manufacturing industries.

On the community front, Anu has been playing an active role with miindia.com since 1999. She has been a radio jockey with Birach Broadcasting Corporation, Detroit for last 13 years. She is the President of Mai Family Services, a non-profit providing prevention and intervention services in Livonia, MI for Domestic Violence survivors.  Anu has extensive experience with TiE and has been the Vice-President of the Detroit chapter since 2015.

I look forward to working with the passionate team, and am committed to mentoring and educating the next generation of entrepreneurs using the TiE global ecosystem.
