MICROJIG CEO Bruce Wang named to Orlando Business Journal’s ’40 Under 40’

ORLANDO, Fla., 2019-Nov-19 — /EPR Network/ — MICROJIG CEO Bruce Wang’s vision of safer, smarter solutions that revolutionize how people work with wood has earned him a spot on the Orlando Business Journal’s ’40 Under 40’ Award list.

MICROJIG is a Florida-based company makes woodworking tools that allow DIYers and professional woodworkers to be extremely precise, while keeping fingers away from dangerous table saw blades. The innovative product designs have made MICROJIG a top seller on Amazon in both the U.S. and Canada.

“I am very grateful for this honor,” said Wang. “The MICROJIG team has accomplished great product breakthroughs, reach into 20 countries and has created a culture of passion, purpose and family. We’re only just getting started.”

At the age of just 33, Wang has led the charge on industry-disrupting products like the GRR-RIPPER, a patented, adjustable push block that replaces traditional push sticks. The product protects fingers, as wood is precisely guided through the table saw blade. The GRR-RIPPER is the #1 best-selling table saw accessory on Amazon USA and Canada.

MICROJIG’s vision has led to the creation of multi-use products that cut down on the number of tools in a shop. For example, the ZEROPLAY 360 Sled Kit combines the company’s ZEROPLAY miter bar with MATCHFIT dovetail hardware in order to allow maximum maneuverability, when woodworkers are making crosscuts.

Two MICROJIG products were named best sellers at Woodcraft, one of the largest woodworking retail outlets in the U.S. The company was also named the No. 1 brand in safety at Rockler, one of the industry’s top retailers. The company’s MATCHFIT Dovetail Clamps were named the #1 best-selling hold-down clamps on Amazon USA and Canada.

MICROJIG’s school donation program seeks to provide two GRR-RIPPERs for every public school table saw in the country. Since the Safety in Every School Program’s inception in 2018, there have been more than a thousand donated to keep students safe, while they learn the techniques needed to fill skilled labor shortages.

Wang also supports his wife Ryah’s charity, Bee Humble. The global non-profit aims to bring hope and dignity to the world’s most vulnerable people via shelters and clinics in conflict-area refugee camps.

The Orlando Business Journal will recognize the best and brightest business leaders in Central Florida at a ceremony on November 14.
