Key highlights of the webinar that was organized on 24th June.

Kuusalu Parish, Estonia. 2021-Jun-29 — /EPR Network/ — Group Futurista was responsible for holding yet another successful webinar, it’s “Future of Digital Supply Chain in a Post-COVID World 5.0” on the 24th June at 15:00 BST/10:00 ET. The webinar was hosted by Richard Hurst and sponsored by Platinum Sponsors Elementum and CycleLabs and Gold Sponsor Augury.  Elementum, CycleLabs and Augury are software companies which provide products for businesses wishing to assess and improve their supply chain and product lines, they provide various solutions such as task management, inventory allocation and AI technology to evaluate machine risk .

In the duration of the webinar, inevitably the most heavily discussed topic was how the Covid-19 pandemic disrupted all the supply chains and solutions which can be implemented to lessen it’s damage. Artem Kroupenev of Gold Sponsor Augury talked about how this is the first time any event has negatively impacted all three global pillars of the supply chain, Supply, Demand and Workforce. Josh Owen, CEO of Platinum Sponsor CycleLabs discussed the growing necessity and benefit of test automation and how to implement it. Bill Papantoniou of Nestle Purina Emena gave an intuitive understanding of the Post-Covid Value Chain and talked about how the retail industry was gradually shifting from a product-focused towards one focused upon customers. It was very informative and attendees surely got a much tighter grasp on the true effect of the pandemic on the supply chain and also got a deeper understanding of alternatives and methods they should adopt to future proof their businesses’ supply chains.

The collective knowledge and the informative discussions and presentations provided by these industry-leading speakers was eye-opening and illuminating at the least. It provided a good opportunity for companies to re-evaluate their present HR strategies and adapt them or restructure them to meet the demands of contemporary times. The event closed out with a panel discussion between all the speakers discussing supply chain trends in 2021 and answering some questions put forward by the host, Richard Hurst.

Please stay tuned for updates and to block your seat for the upcoming webinars that are sure to address questions on the changing world and the digital era post-Covid 19.
