A journal published by Ural Federal University included in the list of the best Russian scientific journals

Ekaterinburg, Russia, December 28, 2015 — /EPR NETWORK/ — The scientific journal “News of Ural Federal University. Series 2: Humanities” («Известия Уральского федерального университета. Серия 2: Гуманитарные науки») has been included in the list of the best Russian scientific journals according to the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI). The journals from this list are published in a separate data base on Web of Science platform and are accessible for 20 million of WoS users.

The list of the best journals was formed in two steps: check for meeting the formal requirements, and qualitative analysis carried out by the experts. The aim of the Russian Science Citation Index’ top-list is to provide the opportunity to include the best Russian journals in the global citation network.

The RSCI project was organized by Thomson Reuters (the owner of Web of Science) and Scientific electronic library eLIBRARY.RU (operator of the Russian Science Citation Index).

The scientific journal “News of Ural Federal University. Series 2: Humanities” is issued four times a year since 1999 by Ural Federal University named after the first President of Russia B.N. Yeltsin. The “Humanities” series of the journal contains research articles, reviews and comments on topical problems of philology, history and art. The editorial policy of the journal adheres to scientific liberalism.
