Durham, United States, 2016-Dec-05 — /EPR Network/ — This year on December 16, 2016 from 6-9 PM we will be hosting our fourth annual 20 buck chuck with a twist since it is the Directors 40th birthday.

Fundraising fun for Arts for Life NC and the Arts Community.

This year on December 16, 2016 from 6-9 PM we will be hosting our fourth annual 20 buck chuck with a twist since it is the Directors 40th birthday. 20 Buck Chuck is established as a way to provide artists with some beer money and a chance for the arts enthusiast to purchase their prints for a one –time only special event where everything in the gallery is twenty-dollars cash and carry. It gives the public a chance to meet their artist and take home some really fantastic work while the artists get a chance to make a little extra cash and meet some of the people who love their work.

This year, Alicia Lange, the Director of SPECTRE Arts is turning 40 on the 4th annual 20 buck chuck so we are supersizing the event and using it as a fundraiser for Arts for Life NC. This year, artists are creating special prints for the event and 50% of the proceeds will go to Arts for Life NC programming and 50% to the artist.

The event is Friday, December 16, 2016 from 6-9PM and is one-night only. There is no cost to attend the event and we will have cocoa, marshmallows, and art table sponsored by Happymess Art and some warm drink, caroling and cheer to share with all that attend.

SPECTRE Arts was created as a bridge for art and arts collaboration in the community and beyond. Each person involved in SPECTRE Arts has an ability to connect with an audience, community and great vibe to share with others through the dialogue and view of art.
